Our Business Units Petrochemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Warehousing & Commodities and Food & Feed offer total solutions based on integrated logistics and engineering. To support these fast-growing businesses, Katoen Natie is looking for Functional analyst with Integration or EDI knowledge.
- The FA knows the logistical cross system business processes/use cases well and designs the integration lines handling the data exchanges needed to facilitate these processes.
- The FA defines the integration logic on a high level (routing, mapping, validation, enrichment, orchestration, …), lists which endpoints are to be used (API/Operation, Service bus,…) and adds message information (trigger, event, document, format, values…).
- The FA brings the teams responsible for the different systems (ARD, YMS, TMS, WMS, Middleware,…) together to align on and chart the functional requirements on business processes and high-level implementation details on the needed data exchanges.
- Maintaining communication lines cross team is vital for the project, the FA helps in facilitating and thinks along to find the correct solution.
Responsibilities
- Chart/design business processes from an integration viewpoint
- Detail business process steps with schema info and integration logic
- Provide packages of integration information for integration developers
- Apply or consider integration patterns and pitfalls (ordered delivery, batching, data ownership, disparate and dissimilar systems…) with the help of integration team
- Get the deliverables reviewed and agreed upon by internal/external stakeholders
- Gauge the impact of upcoming changes, update the deliverables accordingly
Deliverables
- Business case and process (BPMN, state diagram, sequence diagram)
- Integration logic (mapping, routing, …)
- Non functional requirements (tracking, volume, error handling, …)
Requirements
- Level of experience:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as a functional analyst with focus on Integrations.
- Must haves
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree, or similar by experience.
- The team is located in Belgium, UK & Macedonia, reason why a good level of English is a must.
- Functional knowledge of Azure Integrated Services (APIM, Logic Apps, Service bus, Function apps,…)
- Documenting skills.
- Nice to haves
- Experience with Biztalk
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud
- Project management knowledge
- EDI knowledge
- Knowledge about architecture
Technical Context (Knowledge Description):
- Experience with Azure AIS
- API experience
- Experience with Visio, Enterprise Architect, Draw.io,… (one or multiple tools)
- BPNM/UML is a plus
- Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar tool)
